Terms and Conditions

All of our products are made by us are subject to the following Terms and Conditions. â€‹

  • INGREDIENTS:

    • All cakes, fillings and icings may contain, or come into contact with, soy, wheat, dairy, nuts or other allergens.

    • It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform us prior to the confirmation of their booking of any allergy issues. It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform their guests of all allergy information and accordingly Bit and Bridle Events will not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption.

    • All products are made to be eaten on the day of the celebration.

  • ORDERS:  Any Products ordered from a picture or photo of a product produced by any other cake maker, can only be reproduced by us  as our interpretation of that product and will NOT be an exact reproduction of the product in the picture or photo.​

  • PAYMENTS: All payments are non-refundable. 

    • The initial deposit reserves your event date, is non-refundable and non-transferable.   

    • Reservation deposit of 20%  should be received within 72 hours of invoice receipt. Final payments are due on the date specified in the invoice or within one week prior to the event. A 20% late fee will be charged each day the final payment is late. 

    • Any refund or credit requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@bitandbridle.com. Bit and Bridle Events has 14 days to review this request and determine an outcome. The outcome will be sent the email address of the requester.

  • PHOTO RELEASE: Client grants permission to Bit and Bridle Events to use images from Client’s Event for marketing purposes, including but not limited to use on Bit and Bridle Events' website, social media, and print marketing materials. Client waives any right to payment, royalties or any other consideration for the use of the images. Client waives the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein Client’s likeness appears. Bit and Bridle Events is hereby held harmless and released and forever discharged from all claims, demands, and causes of action which Client, his/her heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on Client’s behalf or on behalf of the Client’s estates have or may have by reason of this authorization.

  • PARKING (trailer use ONLY):  Our horse trailer is approximately 10' long, 5' wide and 6.5' tall.  We will need enough space to  drive it on the event property, park it, and set up.  Failure to provide enough space to get in and out, will delay set up time and therefore the overall event starting time.  Bit and Bridle Events is not responsible for any delays due to parking interruptions.

Weddings

WEDDING ORDERS (Wedding cake/grooms cake)

  • Consultation is required to confirm dates, flavor, design, etc.

  • The initial deposit reserves your event date, is non-refundable and non-transferable.   

  • Reservation deposit of 20%  should be received within 72 hours of invoice receipt. Final payments are due on the date specified in the invoice or within one month prior to the event. A 20% late fee will be charged each day the final payment is late. 

  • A two-tier (max) wedding cake for cutting with minimal design is what we offer.  (Grooms cake is 1/4 to full sheet)

  • For quick orders!  When ordering 14 days or more in advance, a 50% non­-transferable deposit in required to confirm your reservation. Final payment is due one week/seven days prior to event date. 

    • If the event is postponed/cancelled for any reason, please submit the new event date immediately  (Subject to date availability).  Any subsequent rescheduling or cancellation will incur a $75 rescheduling fee for each occurrence.  A 20% late fee will be charged each day any of the aforementioned payments are late. 

 

OCCASIONAL CAKE ORDERS (birthday, shower, anniversary, etc.)
When ordering 14 days or more in advance, a 20% non­-transferable deposit in required to confirm your reservation. Final payment is due seven (7) days before delivery or pickup of the items ordered. If this order has been placed within 14 days of the event date, payment in full is required to confirm your reservation.  A 20% late fee will be charged each day the final payment is late.

Cancellations/Returns/Refunds

What is our general refund policy?
As our product is perishable, baked, and decorated, our refund policy is as follows:

  • We cannot resell any product that is not picked up (or delivered); therefore, we do not give a refund. If you need it at a later date, you will have to pay for both.

  • If there is a defect in your product please return it promptly, or the portion remaining, within 24 hours of pick up (or delivery).   In this case we will provide you a proportionate refund for the amount returned if we determine there is a quality deficiency.  We retain the right to judge our product quality for ourselves.  Click on the contact form to fill out any information relevant to the defect and we will respond promptly.

  • If you try one of our products and just don't care for it, then we hope you try something different next time; however, a refund will not be given.

  • Cancellations and/or changes for decorated cake orders must be made at least 3 business days in advance of the scheduled pick up time to receive a refund.  (No cash refunds.)

    • Wedding order cancellations of any kind must be made 30 days in advance of the agreed upon pick up or delivery time to receive a refund.  If wedding orders are booked within a 30-day timeframe, cancellations MUST be received within 7-business days to receive a refund.

  • No refund will be given for an amount in excess of the original purchase price regardless of circumstance.

Bit and Bridle Events, LLC reserves the right to modify its exchange/return policy at any time

Unforeseen Circumstances

If we are unable to continue with the booking due to illness or any other unforeseen circumstance that affects the ability to deliver the ordered product, the deposit will be refunded within seven (7) days of notification to the Customer. (IF full payment was received, customer will receive FULL refund)
